Self Soothing Hierarchy

Getting your baby to self soothe is a matter of reducing your contact until they don’t require much from you at all.


This means if you are rocking to sleep, begin rocking until drowsy only.


If your baby is requiring your voice, touch and presence to get to sleep, attempt using just your voice and presence.


Whatever you are currently doing, try to do less and less.
